Bono denies the clapping incident

Paul David Hewson know as Bono has denied the reports like he have silenced an audience in Glasgow to demonstrate the plight of poverty in Africa by clapping his hands.

According to reports the singer told the crowd to be quiet and then said, “Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies.”

After that, someone of the crowd  interjected, “Well, stop doing it then!”

Bono’s representative told the New York Daily News, “He’s never even done the clapping thing.”
