Cattrall was longing to play Samantha again

Kim Cattrall has revealed that she was very happy when she heard that she can play her character Samantha one more time and this time on the big screen.

The actress says, “After being away for so much time, I was really longing to play Samantha again. It’s so good to be home again.”

But the things weren’t always so rosy. When the hit TV show ‘Sex And The City’ ended in 2004 Kim was having a very rough time.

She told In Touch, “The show was coming to an end, my dad was diagnosed with dementia and I was going through a divorce.”

But now, four years later the actress feels fantastic. She says, “I’m in a fantastic place. I have a wonderful boyfriend[chef Alan Wyse] and I had so much fun.”

Cattrall, also, told about how good was to reunite with her cast members by saying, “We had an amazing time together.”

“After shooting, the girls and I would go to Nobu and salute each other. It was a very nostalgic feeling. It was like a family reunion.”
