Cross regrets having kids so late

Marcia Cross has revealed that she would have wanted to have children when she was younger, but just hadn’t got the opportunity.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star gave birth to her twins Eden and Savannah a year ago at the age of 45.

She told Now magazine, “I wanted to have kids in my 30s, but I just couldn’t get it together.”

“I don’t think people want to wait. I wish I’d met my husband earlier.  “

“It’s sad having kids so late, because you want to be alive for as long as possible for them.”

The actress also told about motherhood, by saying, “Motherhood is like being madly in love.”

“Take your greatest love affair and magnify it as many times as you can imagine and it’s like that. “

“Motherhood really cracks your heart right open. “
