Depp, Hoffman In Next Batman

Reports claim that Johnny Depp and Philip Seymour Hoffman are going to be in the sequel to ‘The Dark Knight’.

According to National Enquirer the ‘Piretes of the Carribean’ star is linked to play villain The Riddler and the ‘Synecdoche, New York’ star may be cast as The Penguin.

A source said, “[Producers] are convinced that the role of the Riddler is perfect for Depp. Johnny’s a pro. He’ll be able to take direction from director Chris Nolan and still make the character his own.”

The insider added, “And what better Penguin is there than Philip Seymour Hoffman?”
