Duffy defends Spears and Winehouse

Duffy has claimed that in someway it’s good that media publicize celebrity problems.

The singer told Clash magazine, “”In a really weird way, I think those kind of people show others it’s alright to be human - for all their faults.”

Despite defending the stars, she herself doesn’t follow in their footsteps.

She added, “I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, so don’t say I’m some kind of clean-slate, virginal angel. But I’ve not got any issues right now, which is good.”
