Former child star Corey Feldman has admitted that her parents are to blame for his career and personal problems.
The ‘Lost Boys: The Tribe’ star told Metro, “It wasn’t the industry’s fault, it was my parents’. They should have been more responsible and laid the groundwork for me to build a healthy adult life. I was fortunate enough to continue my career, but that’s due to my tireless dedication.”
“I was 17 and already I’d become a joke to some people. As with everything in life you’re measured by your achievements and people like to point out your failures. Everyone recognised me so I couldn’t just get a job at the local Blockbuster. It was a very difficult time.”
Corey added that he is “opposed to the idea of creating child stars”, claiming that finding fame early can leave a young actor “a shell of a person and unable to live a healthy adult life”.
