Heath Ledger has past away

Heath Ledger was found dead at his Manhattan residence on Tuesday.

According to the New York Police Department the ‘Casanova’ star was found dead by his housekeeper who had gone to inform Ledger that his masseuse had arrived.

The time of death 3:45 p.m.

A spokesperson for NYPD told People.com, “Pills were found in the vicinity of the bed. This is being looked at as a possible overdose.”

Ledger was born in Perth in 1979 and became an actor at the age of 16.

He left behind a 2-year-old daughter Matilda Rose.

Mel Gibson said of Heath, ” I had such great hope for him. He was just taking off and to lose his life at such a young age is a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”

Nicole Kidman says, “What a tragedy. My heart goes out to his family.”
