Hoffman’s film fright threatens his marriage

Dustin Hoffman gets so nervous every time he starts a movie, that it almost destroys his marriage.

According to Femalefirst even after 40-years of acting, Dustin confesses he is wracked with fear when approaching new projects, and his wife Lisa bears the brunt of his emotions.

Hoffman says, “My wife has said that the closest she has ever come to divorcing me is two weeks before a movie starts, when the fear begins to build up.”

He adds:, “All your bottom feelings come to the surface: ‘I’m a fraud; I don’t know what I’m doing.’ It’s that couple of weeks when you’re walking around trying to think, `What am I going to do here?’”.
