The O.C. was difficult for Mischa

Mischa Barton admits that The O.C. was too difficult for her, because during her time in the U.S. hit show Mischa felt helpless and frustrated.

According to Wenn the 21-year-old actress is determined not to let producers and writers take control of Mischa’s career.

Barton says, “You don’t have any creative control and you’re at the mercy of what everybody else wants. You work terribly long hours and a difficult schedule. Sometimes, we would shoot two episodes at once. The only other show to do that was (Beverly Hills) 90210.”
